Count Laval Nugent von Westmeath
(November 3, 1777 - August 21, 1862)
of
ñrish birth, was the son of Count Michael
Anton Nugent von Westmeath, Governor of
Prague. He served in the armies of Austria and
the Two Sicilies. In 1816 Laval Nugent von
Westmeath was given the title of Prince
by the Pope Pius VII.
